Testimonials
I first met Dawn on retreat in Lesbos in 2006, where she was the Senior Teacher for Ruth White Yoga
I knew immediately that her combination of enthusiasm, depth of knowledge of the subject, care for her class and pupils and her obvious joy in teaching yoga were and are unique.
Those Iyengar-based classes made a lasting impression on me. When I later learnt that Dawn was launching a teacher training course, I was one of the first to sign up. At the time I had no ambition to become a teacher, I simply wanted to learn more about yoga and the course seemed to be the best means of doing so.
The course began in 2008 and covered all aspects of yoga. The physical work strengthened my body beyond measure and I am now able to comfortably attain poses I barely knew before the course began. My intuitive and empathic abilities have also increased considerably in power and scope.
Having qualified as a teacher in September 2010, I am now teaching classes myself, something I enjoy immensely.
The constant care and enthusiasm shown by Dawn throughout the two year Teacher Training has been an inspiration.
I wholeheartedly endorse Dawn’s method and practice and I recommend that you sign up immediately

I first met Dawn in 2006, where she was my yoga teacher at Esporta Health & Racquets, our local gym. I'd been going to her classes for about 1 year and a half and I thoroughly enjoyed them.
Having completed my two years Teachers Training with Dawn, I am now teaching regularly weekly classes and enjoy them very much.
Dawn has been an inspiration. I can't thank her enough for her dedication, patience, caring but above all for being a brilliant teacher. I would recommend Dawn to you all with all my heart.

I first met Dawn at Greens Health & Fitness in Croydon. I was really pleased when I learned that she was running a Yoga Teacher Training Course.
Dawn was very flexible with me and let me do the course at a pace I could manage around childcare commitments. I couldn't have trained otherwise.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course, so much so that I didn't want to finish!
When I started it was really because I just wanted to learn more about yoga but once I qualified, I realised I did want to teach.
I now have a small class in a local church hall and I have found I really enjoy teaching. I thoroughly recommend the Teacher Training with Dawn. She is very professional. Definitely the genuine article.

I finished Karuna Yoga Teacher Training with Dawn Smith in October 2011.
Due to this training I have developed the skills, knowledge and confidence I needed to run a regular Karuna Yoga Class.
Each training weekend Dawn taught with real enthusiasm and empathy.
Her knowledge of Yoga is absolutely amazing and coupled with a good sense of humour she inspired me to work at a deeper level than I would have otherwise done.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and am truly grateful.
I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone with a serious interest in Yoga.

Dawn teaches with great awareness, presence, insight and perception.
Her caring nature means you never feel out of bounds but supported and informed.
The Teacher Training course has given me greater confidence, increased awareness and a sense of direction.
Whether it is for your own personal development or a genuine desire to teach I highly recommend Dawn's Karuna Yoga course.

I started my Teacher Training with Dawn, thinking that I would just enjoy it and learn something new about yoga and have a great experience. I had no plans to teach my own class saying to myself that I was working full time and that was enough……little did I know!!!
The Teacher Training covered all aspects of yoga, including anatomy, practical aspects of running yoga classes as well as the asana and pranayama.
We were a small group which that meant we could support each other and of course get individual support from Dawn.
I have felt that physically I have improved, become stronger and more flexible in poses.
Dawn has given me the courage to practice poses that I previously thought impossible and also to start my own class that I thoroughly enjoy.
The constant support and enthusiasm that Dawn shows for Yoga and Teaching is something that I try to carry over into my own classes.
Thank you Dawn
